90-year-old loses licence for speeding, drunk driving
February 28th, 2010 - 2:03 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Melbourne, Feb 28 (IANS) A 90-year-old man lost his driving licence in Australia’s Victoria state after he was clocked over-speeding and detected with double the alcohol limit, police said.
Police Saturday found the 90-year-old driving along Thompsons Road, Lower Templestowe, at a speed of 83 kmph in a zone which has 60 kmph limit, Australian news agency AAP reported.
He had double the blood alcohol limit.
The nonagenarian received two fines for excessive speed and drink driving. He lost his licence.
