February 12th, 2011 - 4:56 pm ICT by ANIWellington, Feb 12 (ANI): Would you be willing to forego a date if he or she didn’t like your pooch?
A new survey has revealed that you would, if you are a Briton.
Eighty per cent of dog owners, for example, said they would not date someone who didn’t like their pet and nearly 20 per cent of the 3000 pet owners surveyed would rather have an animal companion than a relationship, reports Stuff.co.nz.
As many as 36 per cent of all owners stroked their furry friends more than they touched their partners.
And 12 per cent felt that owning their cat or dog was having a damaging effect on their relationship. (ANI)
