$800,000 found in abandoned car
April 29th, 2010 - 1:54 pm ICT by IANSMexico City, April 29 (IANS/EFE) Nearly $800,000 in cash was found inside an abandoned car after police gave it a chase in Mexico’s Culiacan city, officials said.
Police were patrolling the streets of Culiacan when they noticed a car speed off on seeing them. When they pursued it, the driver pulled into a parking lot and fled on foot.
On searching the car, police discovered a secret compartment behind the rear license plate where the money was stacked.
