80 held in Serbia child porn racket
November 16th, 2011 - 10:50 pm ICT by IANSBelgrade, Nov 16 (IANS/AKI) Serbian police have busted a nationwide paedophilia ring and arrested more than 80 people, including a priest.
The police operation dubbed “Armageddon” was still going on Wednesday. Among the arrested were a priest and a lawyer.
A suspect named Goran T., who operated a studio in Belgrade that produced and distributed child pornography, has been arrested, police said.
Goran T. — termed “big daddy” of the operation — distributed child pornographic material to clients throughout the country. The material were sold for 25 euros.
The children in the video clips ranged from two to 17 years in age and were engaged in “brutal sex scenes”, police said.
