53 illegal immigrants held in Sharjah
May 23rd, 2010 - 8:41 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, May 23 (IANS/WAM) Fifty-three illegal immigrants were arrested in Sharjah, the interior ministry said.
The detainees are from Asian countries and were picked up from different locations following a police probe, said Major General Nasser Al Awadi Al Menhali, acting assistant undersecretary of Naturalization, Residency and Exits Affairs at the ministry.
