- Baghdad, Nov 1 (IANS) At least five people were killed and 20 injured Sunday when a bomb placed on a bicycle exploded in a busy market in a town near here, a police official said.
A booby-trapped bicycle left at a crowded market in the town of Mussayab detonated at about 9 a.m., the police official told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Iraqi security forces have cordoned off the area, he said.
The blast damaged several shops.
Mussayab, some 60 km south of Baghdad, is part of the once restive area, dubbed Triangle of Death, which is a cluster of towns scattered north of Hilla City.
