40pc of Brits prefer their mums’ home cooking to anyone else’s
August 31st, 2010 - 1:10 pm ICT by ANILondon, August 31 (ANI): Britons feel that their mother knows best when it comes to the kitchen, reveals a new survey.
Given the choice, 40 per cent of Britons would choose their mother’s home cooking over their partner’s or even a meal cooked by a top chef in a five-star restaurant.
Men in particular appreciate their home comforts, with 29 per cent preferring their mother’s home cooking to their mates and even their football team.
Richmond Sausages commissioned the poll of 1,178 British adults.
“An overwhelming 40 per cent of the population prefer their mum’s home cooking to anyone else’s,” the Scotsman quoted Derek Williamson, the firm’s marketing director as saying. (ANI)
