Islamabad, July 26 (IANS) At least 35 Pakistani Taliban have been killed and many more wounded by the NATO-led forces in Afghanistan, BBC reported.
The militants crossed over into the Afghan province of Paktia to target NATO forces when they came under attack last week, officials said.
The officials from Pakistan’s Waziristan tribal region said many of the wounded Taliban were brought back and some were reportedly receiving medical treatment in Miranshah town.
Reports said the militants belonged to two groups led by Hafiz Gul Bahadur and Mullah Nazir. Both groups are known for targeting NATO forces.
