March 25th, 2008 - 1:54 pm ICT by adminLondon, March 25 (IANS) Two-time Oscar winner actor Robert De Niro topped a poll to find the most shameless paycheque role of all time. Contactmusic.com reports that the poll was conducted by the online edition of Entertainment Weekly to find respected actors who worked in such horrible films that it could have been only for the money.
De Niro’s performance in 2000 movie “The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle” topped the list, followed by Richard Burton starring as a priest in 1977’s panned “The Exorcist II: The Heretic”.
“Gandhi” star Sir Ben Kingsley comes in third with his performance in 2005 film “Bloodrayne”. Tony Curtis and Dennis Hopper round off the top five with their appearances in the sequel “The Bad News Bears Go To Japan” (1978) and the video game adaptation “Super Mario Bros” (1993).
