29 killed in Iran bus accident
September 15th, 2010 - 6:42 pm ICT by IANSTehran, Sep 15 (IANS) Twenty-nine people were killed and 11 injured in a bus accident in Iran early Wednesday.
The accident took place at 4 a.m. when the bus overturned on a highway south of Tehran, Xinhua reported.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Saveh, a city located 100 km southwest of Tehran.
According to official figures, about 20,000 people are killed in road accidents in Iran every year.
