28 die in Baghdad blast
July 8th, 2010 - 2:27 am ICT by IANSBaghdad, July 8 (IANS) Twenty-eight people were killed and 68 injured in a suicide bomb attack in the Iraqi capital Wednesday, Xinhua reported.
The suicide bomber blew himself up at a procession of Shia pilgrims in Adamiyah district of Baghdad, police said.
The area was cordoned off and the wounded were taken to hospitals. Meanwhile, an explosive device was defused in Altallya district of the capital.
