25 sentenced to death for kidnapping in China
February 5th, 2010 - 11:42 am ICT by IANSBeijing, Feb 5 (IANS) Twenty five people were sentenced to death after being convicted in separate trials of kidnapping-for-ransom cases in China.
Two courts in south China’s Guangdong Province Thursday awarded death sentence to 25 people who were convicted in nine cases of kidnapping.
Guangzhou’s Municipal Intermediate People’s Court and the People’s Court of Zengcheng also sentenced 26 others to jail terms of up to 20 years, Xinhua reported.
