23 foreigners died in Japan twin disasters
April 12th, 2011 - 10:42 pm ICT by IANSTokyo, April 12 (IANS) Twenty-three foreign nationals have died in the earthquake and tsunami in Japan last month, Xinhua reported.
The toll from the disasters rose to 13,200 Tuesday, and more than 14,500 people are still unaccounted for, officials said.
On March 11, a 9-magnitude quake and an ensuing tsunami devasted the coastal areas of northeastern and eastern Japan. People are yet to recover from the disasters.
