21 dead in China accident
October 29th, 2011 - 2:20 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Oct 29 (IANS) At least 21 people were killed and seven others injured Saturday in a road accident in China, authorities said.
The accident took place in northwest Gansu province, Xinhua reported.
The vehicle, carrying railway construction workers, overturned in an under-construction mountain tunnel around 7.30 a.m. in Manwa township of Lintao county, a statement said.
Brake failure was to blame for the accident, an official said.
