200 UAE citizens to get housing assistance
September 24th, 2011 - 11:14 pm ICT by IANSDubai, Sep 24 (IANS/WAM) A total of 200 citizens throughout the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will get assistance to build houses.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, minister of public works and chairman of the Zayed Housing Programme, approved the list of the 200 citizens for 2011.
For people whose monthly salary is above 10,000 dirhams (around $2,700) the housing assistance will be in the form of loans, while those who draw less than 10,000 dirhams a month, the assistance will be given as grants.
The entitled citizens can select from 24 house models with modern designs.
