20 vehicles collide in China, five dead
November 22nd, 2011 - 2:23 am ICT by IANSBeijing, Nov 22 (IANS) At least five people died and many others were injured when more than 20 vehicles collided in China, authorities said.
The accident took place in the central Hunan province Monday, Xinhua reported.
The incident happened on an expressway in Dongkou county due to the presence of fog, which reduced visibility on the road, triggering the chain collision, said a spokesman with the provincial traffic police.
The actual number of injured people was still unknown, the report said.
