London, April 27 (IANS) Eight 20-foot-tall trees along with seasonal British flowers will adorn the aisle of the Westminster Abbey where bride Kate Middleton will walk down to wed Prince William.
English field maple and hornbeam trees will form an “avenue of trees” along the aisle. Azalea, lilac and rhododendron flowers will also form part of the decoration, the Daily Express reported.
Royal Wedding florist Shane Connolly said the display would symbolise that “everything is sustainable, renewable and appropriate”.
Connelly, however, refused to reveal the contents of the bride’s wedding bouquet. he only said every flower would hold its significance.
