20 civilians die in Afghan mine blast

Kabul, July 1 (IANS) Twenty civilians were killed when a landmine exploded under their bus in southwest Afghanistan, Xinhua reported Friday.
The blast occurred Thursday afternoon in the Khash Rod district of Nimroz province.
Provincial deputy police chief Mohammed Musa Rasuli said the Taliban militants planted the landmine.
