2-month-old trampled to death at Nepal wedding
February 14th, 2010 - 2:19 am ICT by IANSKathmandu, Feb 13 (IANS) A two-month-old girl from Bihar was accidentally trampled to death by drunk relatives at a wedding in Rupandehi district of southern Nepal Saturday, police said.
The infant, Jyotimaya, and her mother Mira Yadav were sleeping on the ground when relatives came rushing into their room around 5 a.m.
Two men, who were in an inebriated state, trampled the child in the dark.
The severely injured baby died on way to the hospital.
Police said they had arrested the two men — Pankaj Mishra and Rajesh Mishra.
