19 killed in Peru bus accident
August 24th, 2009 - 4:21 am ICT by IANSLima, Aug 24 (EFE) Nineteen people, including three women, were killed Sunday when the bus in which they were travelling veered off the road and fell into a ravine in southern Peru, media reports said.
The accident occurred near the Quichuas town in southern Huancavelica province.
The Quichuas Health Centre said 19 people were killed and 10 others injured in the accident.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
