19 killed in Iran traffic accident
September 2nd, 2012 - 8:35 pm ICT by IANSMoscow, Sep 2 (IANS) At least 19 people were killed and 25 injured in Iran Sunday when their bus hit a rock and turned turtle, RIA Novosti reported.
The accident took place on the Shiraz-Kazeroon road, 50 km from Shiraz, the provincial capital of Fars, Xinhua reported citing state-run IRNA news agency.
The driver and 18 passengers were killed.
The cause of the accident was overspeeding, police said.
