19 killed in China mall fire
November 6th, 2010 - 12:46 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Nov 6 (IANS) Nineteen people were killed and 27 injured after a fire broke out at a shopping mall in China, authorities said Saturday.
The fire broke out Friday at the five-storey shopping centre in northeastern Jilin city, Xinhua reported.
Liu Qizhi, a spokesman with the city government, said 24 of the 27 injured people were still hospitalised, but none of them suffered severe injuries.
