17 killed in China road accident
October 10th, 2010 - 8:15 am ICT by IANSBeijing, Oct 10 (IANS) At least 17 people were killed and 23 injured when a bus carrying 53 people collided with a truck in east China’s Jiangsu province, authorities said Sunday.
The accident took place Saturday morning on the highway between Hefei, capital of the Anhui province and Nanjing, capital of the Jiangsu province, Xinhua reported.
The injured passengers, six of them seriously, were transported to hospital, local government officials said.
