17 die as Cambodian ferry capsizes
October 11th, 2009 - 3:31 pm ICT by IANSPhnom Penh, Oct 11 (Xinhua) At least 17 people, including 14 women, died when an overloaded ferry capsized in Cambodia’s Kratie province, an official said Sunday.
Local official Nhim Vanda said the accident took place late Saturday and the bodies were found Sunday. Kratie province is over 300 km northeast of Phnom Penh.
