15 die in Iraq
July 23rd, 2012 - 3:31 pm ICT by IANSBaghdad, July 23 (IANS) Fifteen soldiers were among 17 people killed in Iraq Monday in attacks against security forces, police said.
Militants attacked the soldiers’ base near Dhuluiyah town in Salahudin province, some 80 km from here, with mortars and rockets, a police officer told Xinhua.
In another attack, two members of the Awakening Council, an anti-Al Qaeda group, were gunned down near Samarra city, some 100 km from Baghdad.
