14 die in Chile road accident
April 15th, 2011 - 6:18 am ICT by IANSSantiago, April 15 (IANS) Fourteen people, including 10 women, were killed and 22 others injured when their bus overturned on a highway in Chile Thursday, Xinhua reported.
The accident occurred around 2.30 p.m. between Chillan and Concepcion cities in the Bio bio region, some 550 km south of Santiago. Six of the injured were in serious condition.
Survivors said the accident occurred after the driver entered a curve without reducing the speed. The bus was carrying 43 people, including three crewmembers.
