13 of family killed in Afghan accident
August 15th, 2010 - 9:35 pm ICT by IANSKabul, Aug 15 (IANS) Thirteen members of a family, including women and children, were killed and three injured when a mini-bus plunged into a river in northeast Afghanistan’s Takhar province Sunday, an official said.
“The incident happened in Farkhar district. As a result, 13 people, including women and children, lost their lives and three others sustained injuries,” the governor of Farkhar district, Mawlawi Abdul Aziz, told Xinhua.
All the victims belonged to the same family, he said.
