12 Indian fishermen held in Pakistan

Islamabad, Dec 17 (IANS) At least 12 Indian fishermen were Saturday arrested off the coast of Karachi for entering Pakistani sea territory, a media report said.

The Indians were arrested by the Maritime Security Agency. Two of their boats were also seized, an official was quoted as saying by the Online news agency.

In October, as many as 48 Indian fishermen were arrested in the Pakistani port city for a similar violation of the country’s territorial waters.
