11 die, two missing in China coalmine blast
March 24th, 2011 - 7:58 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, March 24 (IANS) Eleven people were killed, six injured and two others were missing Thursday following a blast in a coalmine in northeast China, Xinhua reported.
The blast occurred around 8.30 a.m. at the Tonggou coalmine in Baishan city of Jilin province.
The injured were taken to hospital. A probe has been launched.
