100-year-old sex abuser Theodore Sypnier released from prison

New York, Dec 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 100-year-old sex abuser Theodore Sypnier has been released from prison. He was lodged in the State of New York prison. His offence was that he had kidnapped and then subsequently raped two girls who were just 4 and 7 years old, while he was baby-sitting them. “He’s an unrepentant child sexual abuser,” said Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita. He added that don’t let his age fool anybody because he is quite an unapologetic sex offender. Frank also adds that if he had his way, then he would make sure that Sypnier spend the rest of his life in prison, because he is a threat to children.
Frank Sedita said, “I want him away from society as long as possible. It doesn’t matter to me that he’s 100-years-old. He’s evil. He’s a pedophile. Pedophiles are the worst.” He also clarified that Synpier has been a sex offender for most of his adult life and isn’t about to change any time soon, as he is quite adamant.
His neighbor Lance Vance has kids and lives near Grace House, however she doesn’t take Synpier as a threat at all to her children. “I wouldn’t think [he's a threat], I mean he can barely walk,” said Vance.
Sypnier was sentenced to nine years behind bars and will now be under supervised release until the year 2012.

I’m with you Joe Mama. I am particularly concerned about the mother next door that doesn’t seem to get it. A child can easily be seduced by something as simple as a video game. Once in his house, he can drug them, confine them, and do whatever his sick mind wants. His age should be that much more concerning, he knows that his time is limited and is no longer afraid of jail, as some younger criminals might be. I pray for the safety of children that might have the misfortune of crossing paths with this pedophile.

The problem with pedophiles is that you cannot “cure” them. They will always have an attraction to young children, and there’s nothing you can do about it except keep them away from your kids and make sure they’re aware that people like him are out and about.

I’m with the D.A. on this one. It doesn’t matter how old he is and people should not feel any sense of complacency about his age! If he has not garnered what is termed “victim empathy” by this time, he is never going to and he remains a serious danger to children and/or even adults with diminished mental capacity to defend themselves. (At his age, he could perhaps end up in a nursing home and would need to be watched like a hawk.)

I totally AGREE with OREGONMOM. That sex offender looks pretty well to me and like everyone is saying, if he was 91 when he raped those little girls, than he can do the same thing at 100. It isn’t safe for anyone to live next to sex offender no matter what age the sex offender may be. I do not think this is a situation that needs to taken lightly. It would heart my heart to hear or read 6 months from now that this same man has raped or molested another child.

Pedophiles make me sick, nearly literally. When I saw “4 and 7 years old” I really wanted to throw up. It’s so sad that even the most unsuspecting people could turn out to be sex offenders.
