10 killed in Romania plane crash
July 5th, 2010 - 11:50 pm ICT by IANSBucharest, July 5 (DPA) Ten people were killed in Romania Monday when a military plane crashed shortly after take-off.
Another three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries, emergency doctor Marian Beciu told Realitatea TV.
The Soviet-era Antonov plane went down in flames with 13 people on board at the Tuzla airport near the city of Constanta on the Black Sea.
Ten passengers on board were parachutists on a practice exercise. Three flight crew members were also on board.
