10 injured in fog-related accidents in UAE
December 27th, 2011 - 12:30 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Dec 26 (IANS/WAM) At least 10 people were injured and 25 vehicles were damaged in traffic accidents caused by thick fog on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi road Monday morning.
Authorities said one person was seriously injured while seven other people suffered light injuries. Three people were admitted to hospitals.
Director of Traffic and Patrol, Hussain Ahmed Al Harithi, said that mobile hospitals and ambulances managed to rescue all victims trapped in the vehicles and rushed them to hospitals.
