10 die in Pakistan blasts (Lead)

Islamabad, June 5 (IANS) A car bomb exploded in Pakistan’s Peshawar city while another bomb went off in Punjab province Sunday, killing 10 people and injuring at least 30, media reports said.
Four people were killed and 21 injured in the first incident in Punjab’s Gujranwala city when a bomb exploded, Xinhua said.
Six more people, including a woman and a child, were killed and 10 injured when a car was blasted by remote control in Peshawar’s Matni bazaar, said Urdu TV channel Dunya.
Security forces cordoned off the car bomb attack site and began rescue work. The injured were shifted to a hospital.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani condemned the killings.
