10 dead in China mall fire
July 1st, 2012 - 6:29 am ICT by IANSBeijing, July 1 (IANS) At least 10 people were killed in a fire at a mall in north China’s Tianjin city, Xinhua reported.
The fire started around 4 p.m. Saturday in the Laide Commercial Mall in Jixian county of Tianjin, but was extinguished by 11 p.m.
At least 16 people were injured in the blaze.
Tianjin is one of the five national central cities of China, under direct administration of the central government.
