The arrests of the officers followed an extensive investigation spurred by a complaint from the mother of the victim.
The purported rape occurred Wednesday, when the teen was held for several hours after a street altercation with a female.
“It is an aberrant event that is being investigated by prosecutor Maria Tolomei,” provincial Attorney General Jorge Miquelarena told the official Telam news agency.
