New Delhi, June 2 (IANS) Yesteryears’ diva Zeenat Aman, actor-filmmaker Sachin Pilgaonkar and small screen’s favourite actress Smriti Irani will nominate characters from Hindi reality and fiction shows for the BIG Television Awards.
After the nominees are short-listed by the jury, the audience will vote for their favourite characters.
“The BIG Television Awards have been created with a vision to put the common man in the driver’s seat and allow them to decide their favourite performers and stars on the small screen,” Rabe T.Iyer, executive vice president - BIG LIVE and BIG STREET, said in a press statement.
Iyer feels the jury panel brings in both “experience and credibility to the awards since they have the ideal blend of experience and knowledge to short-list the contenders for the various awards categories.”
The awards are being organised by Reliance Broadcast Network Limited.
