Kasargod (Kerala), April 16 (IANS) One person was stabbed to death at Kasargod town, the district headquarter of Kerala’s northern district of Kasargod, Wednesday evening. The victim, Muhammed Finan, 23, was attacked and killed by a gang near the bus station where a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activist Sandeep was murdered Tuesday, the police said.
Earlier Wednesday, the police arrested three people in connection with the murder of Sandeep.
Following the violent incidents, the Kasargod district collector has banned the use of two-wheelers in the town between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for a week. Liquor shops will also remain closed for three days from Wednesday.
