Youth crushed to death by Blueline bus
June 9th, 2009 - 1:08 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 9 (IANS) A teenager was killed and his colleague injured when a Blueline bus hit their scooter here, police said Tuesday.
Sagar, 19 and working as a waiter in a restaurant, was riding pillion when the bus plying on route number 623 from Shahdara to Vasant Vihar hit them from behind Monday night, a police officer said.
They were returning after delivering an order in Vasant Vihar in south Delhi when the incident happened.
“Sagar was rushed to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead while his colleague suffered minor injuries,” the officer said.
The bus driver is absconding.
