Youth caught stealing bicycle from apex court
November 6th, 2011 - 6:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 6 (IANS) A 20-year-old youth was caught while trying to flee from the Supreme Court after stealing a bicycle, police said Sunday.
A Delhi Police officer identified the arrested youth as Ajay, of Bihar.
The incident took place at D-Gate of the Supreme Court at around 1.50 p.m., Saturday the officer said.
“The boy was caught as he tried to flee with the stolen bicycle when the security personnel at the gate asked him to produce the pass,” said the official, adding every individual entering the court premises in a vehicle or on foot is issued a pass, returnable at the time of leaving.
