World’s top players to hold Squash Clinic in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS) Some of World’s leading squash players, including Egyptian Mohamed El Shorabgy and India’s Dipika Pallikal, will offer advise to the youngsters at a clinic organised at the Siri Fort Sports Complex here Sunday.

Shorabgy is eighth in the men’s ranking and will be joined by World No.15 Omar Mossad of Egypt and No. 17 Alister Walker of Botswana at the event. Pallikal, who achieved a career-high ranking of 17 this month, will be the lone women’s player at the clinic organised by Tecnifibre, manufacturers of squash and tennis strings.

“This would be an excellent opportunity for young players to interact with their idols and learn from them the finer points of the games,” said Rajesh Kharabanda, CEO of Freewill Sports Pvt. Ltd, the distributors and licensees of Tecnifibre in India.

The initiative will be followed by Punj Lloyd PSA Masters tournament beginning at the same venue from Monday.

Shorabgy, Mossad and Walker will take part in the annual event besides India’s Saurav Ghoshal and World No. 2 James Willstrop.
