World Tamil Conference in Coimbatore next January
September 19th, 2009 - 6:03 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Chennai, Sep 19 (IANS) The ninth World Tamil Conference will be held in the textile city of Coimbatore Jan 21-24 next year, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi said here Saturday.
The dates were finalised at a meeting of state ministers and senior officials chaired by Karunanidhi to discuss the sharing of responsibilities for organising the conference, overseas Tamil experts to be invited and other matters.
The next meeting would discuss the programme for the conference.
