Worker killed in wall collapse
March 2nd, 2011 - 8:13 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 2 (IANS) A 32-year-old worker was killed when a wall of a building under construction collapsed in west Delhi Wednesday evening, police said.
The incident took place at Rani Bagh around 3 p.m., said a fire brigade official.
“Surendra, who hails from Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, was loading rubble when the wall fell on him,” said a senior police officer. The victim died on way to hospital.
“A case has been registered against the landlord and the contractor,” said the officer.
