Women poisons sons, attempts suicide
February 21st, 2011 - 8:02 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Feb 21 (IANS) A woman poisoned her two sons before consuming the poison herself here Monday, police said. While the two children died, she is in a critical condition.Nutan, a resident of Dhurwa area of Ranchi, and her two children were taken to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) where doctors declared the children dead and Nutan was admitted.
A resident of Bihar’s Aurangabad district, Nutan was married to Sanjay Kumar four years ago. It is not known what prompted her to take the extreme step.
