Woman, two sons murdered in Uttar Pradesh
August 6th, 2011 - 1:00 am ICT by IANSMeerut (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 5 (IANS) A woman along with her two minor sons was found murdered inside her house in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district Friday, police said.
Renu, 35, and her two sons Vishal, 14, and Raja, 12, were found murdered in Lalkurti area.
“It appears the three were attacked with some sharp-edged weapons,” police inspector Ramakant Chaturvedi told reporters in Meerut, some 450-km from Lucknow.
“We are yet to ascertain the motive behind the crime,” he added.
Police suspect Renu’s husband could be involved in the killings. He is absconding after the incident.
