Woman survives 5th floor fall
July 22nd, 2011 - 7:16 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, July 22 (IANS) A mentally ill woman had a miraculous escape in China’s Shanghai city after falling off a window from the fifth floor of a residential building.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon when a 29-year-old woman was crouching from the window and yelling “Somebody is going to kill me!”, the China Daily reported.
While the crowd on the road was trying to calm her down, the woman lost her grip on the window and tumbled.
She hit an open window on the fourth floor and was hindered by some electric wires at the second floor level, and landed on the ground with apparently no serious injuries.
