Noida, Aug 8 (IANS) A 28-year-old woman and her alleged paramour were killed here and the police Friday were looking for the woman’s husband, who is suspected to be behind the double murder. Sulekha Chaudhary and Roop Ram were found dead at the woman’s residence at Naya Gaon in Noida Phase-II area, at about 10.30 p.m Thursday.

According to reports, Sulekha was having extra-marital relationship with Ram, who belonged to Badayun district of Uttar Pradesh.

Ram and Raman Chaudhary, Sulekha’s husband, were friends and worked in the same factory at Phase II.

Raman, who belongs to Bihar, is absconding and that points the needle of suspicion towards him, said the police.

“We are locating relatives and other acquaintances of Raman and trying to find out his location,” said superintendent of police (Noida city) Ashok Kumar Tripathy.

“His wife’s relationship with another man was unacceptable to Raman, which may have led him to commit the murders.”
