Woman killed in clash during police raid
February 5th, 2011 - 6:10 pm ICT by IANSHingoli (Maharashtra), Feb 5 (IANS) A woman was killed in a clash with the police who raided her illegal liquor shop in this Maharashtra district. Four policemen who conducted the raid have been charged with murder, an official said Saturday.Vimalbai Jaiswal was killed Friday following a clash with sub-inspector Dashrath Waghmonde and three constables who raided her shop in Bhoosi village of Aundha taluka.
“Waghmonde and the three constables have been charged with murder,” Superintendent of Police K.G. Patil told IANS Saturday.
