Woman killed, cops hunt for rapist civil servant
August 29th, 2011 - 6:09 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Aug 29 (IANS) An elderly woman was found murdered by police staff who went to return her handbag they discovered in a bin. Police are now looking for a former civil servant.
Graeme Jarman, 47, went missing two days before the body of Judith Richardson, 77, was found, reported The Sun.
Jarman, a former civil servant, had been imprisoned in 1987 for raping a 17-year-old girl at gunpoint.
Richardson was found dead at her home in Hexham by officers who went to tell her that her handbag has been found in a bin in Newcastle, soem 35 km away.
