Woman jumps from Metro station
January 27th, 2012 - 7:55 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 27 (IANS) A woman in her early 20s Friday afternoon jumped from a Delhi Metro station in north Delhi, police said. She is admitted to a hospital with injuries.
The victim, identified as Douli Kumari, jumped onto the road from the platform of Kanhaiya Nagar Metro station, around 20 feet above the ground.
According to police, a passer-by rushed her to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. The nature of injuries was not immediately known.
