Woman held for husband’s murder
March 23rd, 2011 - 10:55 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 23 (IANS) A woman and her paramour have been arrested on charges of killing her husband, police said Wednesday.
Beena (25) and Ashwani Kumar Bind (24), both hailing from Munger in Bihar, were held from the Sultanpuri area in west Delhi and Lahori Gate in central Delhi respectively Tuesday, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Chhaya Sharma.
Beena’s husband Samar Singh (28), a carpenter, was found dead in a park in the Sultanpuri area Tuesday morning.
According to police, Singh, who came to know about the relationship between his wife and Bind, used to assault her, which prompted the two kill him.
Beena and Singh have a daughter.
